Sheila McKenzie

May 16, 1937 - March 20, 2020

* UPDATE: 8/2/20

We have been trying to find the best date to safely have the funeral service.  COVID has not declined as we hoped and we are now having the funeral service this Saturday AUGUST 8, 2020 at 10AM EST.  This is the date the immediate family was able to be together.  We would like all to be involved and invite all of the family and friends of Sheila to log on to Zoom and join us during the service.  We invite you to share thoughts via the chat function.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Sheila McKenzie, on March 20, 2020.

We are respecting her wishes to the fullest extent possible; however, in these days of the COVID19 pandemic, our plans for a formal ceremony to honour her life will be delayed. If the restrictions limiting groups of more than 10 people in church are lifted, we will have her funeral on May 16, 2020 and the interment of her ashes will follow at the Parklawn Cemetery.

We know that Mummy was loved by many, and we have felt truly blessed by the kind words and memories so many of you have shared with us. We created this website as a way for family and friends to celebrate and remember the wonderful and amazing woman that Sheila McKenzie was. Please click on the links to see some of our photos and to upload your own video tributes, photos, and stories.

We are working on a video story of her life that will be uploaded soon.  Our hearts are filled with the tremendous outpouring of love and well wishes that we have received.  They have been a source of support for which we are very thankful.

Anne Marie, Bryan and Carey
